The Naples mural

On May 2, 1987, during the 4th Comics Fair held at the Mostra d’Oltremare in Naples , Andrea improvised a performance on the wall of one of the pavilions.

Armed with a brush and a can of paint, he brought to life a battle of hoplites and animals, a painting more than seven meters by three, made without any preparatory drawing.

Some years later, in 2010, to ensure the work’s preservation, the mural was “detached”, restored and placed in the Latin America Pavilion of the Mostra d’Oltremare, which houses the Enel Historical Archive.
