BOLOGNA, 1977

Among the youthful materials of Corrado Biccari and his wife Patrizia Canelli a reel of film has resurfaced, containing footage just under seven minutes long, with no title or any other indication.

The footage can be dated to early 1977 and shows moments of Andrea’s everyday life. From his out-of-town student lodgings he takes the tram downtown. He stops in Piazza Maggiore in front of the memorial plaques to the Fallen of the Resistance, then heads to DAMS, where from a window he watches the start of a march demanding the right to abortion.
